December 9 City Council Workshop to Focus on Storm Water Drainage and R-4 Zoning

The North Myrtle Beach City Council will meet in a workshop session December 9.

·         1:30pm-2:00pm –  City Council will discuss R-4 Resort/Residential zoning as it pertains to annexation.

·         2:00pm-Onward – City staff will present to City Council a list of potential storm water drainage projects that could help to resolve or ease some of the more significant storm water drainage issues in the city. Potential, basic solutions will be presented to City Council relative to each challenge, together with potential costs. Some prioritizing of potential projects may occur. Potential funding sources may be discussed, and those may include a blend of City, private, and other funding sources.

City Council workshops are open to the public but they are not public hearings.
