The Matthew Bellamy Project will be holding a
free gun safety class for kids on Aug. 22, at 2 p.m., and Sept. 21, at 6 p.m. This class is designed for children who may, as a result of gun
ownership by parents or other reasons, come into contact or proximity to
firearms. It is also a great way to reinforce gun safety rules to children who
are handling firearms under the supervision of an adult.
The course is designed
to help children have a healthy and safe respect for firearms and instructs
them on crucial rules of firearm safety. The recommended age is 5-14, and it is
suggested that a parent/guardian attend as well. No live fire or ammunition is
used in the course; however, training guns and dummy ammunition will be utilized.
